Instagram sends public profiles and posts to your browser, then covers them with a sign-up overlay that also locks scrolling. Vitrine hides that overlay so you can read what the page already sent you.
Vitrine only reveals what Instagram already sent to your browser. It does not log in, it does not use an account, and it cannot show anything the server withholds. Your own feed, Explore, search, Stories, comments, private profiles and direct messages stay unavailable — no extension can change that. The public profile grid loads only its first page; endless scrolling requires an account.
Videos are not played inside the viewer. It shows the still frame and links to the post, where Instagram's own player works.
Vitrine collects nothing, sends nothing anywhere, and contains no analytics or
tracking. Settings stay in local browser storage. Requests to Instagram are made
with credentials: "omit", so no session is attached.
